Gentleman's Barber Spa is an upscale club-like barber shop in the heart of White Plains, NY. They have a classic setting with antique barber chairs from 1950s. The offer the full range of barber services, such as haircuts, beard/mustache trims, shaves, and grey blending. But, they have a full array of spa services too, including hot stone or deep-tissue massage, deep cleansing or anti-aging facials and nail care. Not just to for men. Women can come and experience Gentleman's Barber Spa as well.

By far the best salon I've gone to. I started coming to Gentleman's Barber Spa a few months ago and worked with Ariel to find a hairstyle that complimented my facial structure. He helped me work through growing out and styling the hair. Ariel has since left the salon, but I now work with Beatriz who also does an awesome job with my gentleman's cut. I give her minimal directions and she helps me keep my hair clean and fresh. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quality salon with good service and reasonable pricing.read more

I decided to try this place out after years of subpar haircuts, and I can say, it’s incredible. Carlos’ attention to detail was astounding. The atmosphere was perfect for a high quality barber spa. Just awesome! I've been going to the same Barber since I've been 6 and I felt it was time to switch it up, also switching hairstyles for me was a really big to me. Generally I was just nervous about it all, but Peter really gave me an amazing cut and I couldn't be more happier. The prices are higher than a standard cut but you're definitely getting what you pay for, a real high quality cut.read more

I cannot speak highly enough of this barber shop. Almir is probably the best barber that I have gone to, not to mention an extremely friendly guy. I had never had a professional shave prior to my experience here and let me tell you, it was awesome. You truly get what you pay for. Very nice place. Great crowd. Great shave. Unfortunately I didn’t get the haircut I wanted. Just buzzing my head would of been better.Talking to Ahmed I said a number 1 on the sides and keep the top as long as possible. He went straight for the high and tight. It would be a great haircut for an active duty Marine but not the look I was going for. Unfortunately I have to wait a few weeks for it to grow back out. I came in with my hair styled so he would know the look I’m going for. Usually that helps the barber. He buzzed the whole head and left a small puff of hair in the front. Too short to use any product, or comb.Other than that a great place. The shave and after shave mud mask was great. A nice selection of whiskey.read more

It pains me to have to write this subpar review because I genuinely enjoyed coming here and the excellent services they provide, but it's safe to say I won't ever be returning again after my last experience. The first couple of times I went and got cut by Ahmed. I paid for the 79 dollar haircut and shave because I needed a full shave at those times. The last time I went I selected the 45 dollar option and was matched with a young 20 year old fellow working there who I had not seen before. He gave me a great haircut, no complaints there, but I asked him only to lightly buzz the sideburns of my beard and line it up on the neck, he must have thought this gave him the right to go back to the counter and refund my card for the 45 and recharge me 79 instead. I would have had no problem with this whatsoever if he would have had the courtesy to warn me "hey just letting you know if you want me to touch the beard in any way we have to put a different increased charge". I would have said sure no problem, go ahead, and they would have had me as a repeat customer. But now, just for that shady penny pinching act, I will never give this business another dollar again. What was done is unethical, that's no way to treat someone who's been there multiple times, and especially not to someone who tips well. Please let the kid know not to do this to anybody else without a warning.read more

I discovered this place when it first opened several years ago. I shop carefully for my barber since my hair is thick and wavy. Very few barbers can cut it correctly. This is a place that you will be happy with everything. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff is very professional. Prices are good. To avoid waiting time you can call and make a reservation at your convenience. Mens will feel like they are on the right place the entire time. All in all they are consistently high quality service, an excellent barber, and deserve the highest marks in all relevant categories.If you're shopping around, look no further.One caveat: it's White Plains parking. So, if you're in the city or accustomed to maneuvering in WP no problem. If you're from a nearby town and visit occasionally or frequently then you know street parking is a dream but it happens, and there's a garage right behind the shop so it couldn't be closer, really convenient.read more

Ive been a customer multiple times in the past and was overly pleased with the whole experience and quality of cut. However i showed up to my latest appointment 5-10 mins late, which i understand is my fault, but i dont feel the situation was handled correctly and now im left with a haircut that im not satisfied with. The barber was not making me feel very welcome as it was clear he wasnt pleased with my tardiness. This isnt the quality that im used too and If i knew this was going to be the outcome i would have paid the cancellation fee and left.read more

I travel for business, but have been to this barbershop twice. I’ve had both Peter and Sergio… Both are excellent but I highly recommend Peter if you can get him.This is not an inexpensive cut but worth every penny, and I highly recommend it… Especially since a good haircut, next to your attire, is about the most a man can do to put his best foot forward.Peter in particular impressed me as he corrected a direction I was combing my hair my entire life (thanks mom!)… He accurately showed me and styled my hair in a new way and direction that I am absolutely thrilled to have been shown.
