Downtown Barber was established in 2018, but the location has been a barber shop for almost 70 years. The shop has recently been renovated and upgraded with a cool modern vintage that truly separates you from the outside world. They offer a variety of barber services, including hot towel straight razor shaves. Additionally, they will treat you to complimentary tea/coffee/cookies.

First rate operation in every respect!You come for a haircut, but they offer a great experience in a very warm and welcoming environment. A LOT of care was put into the ambiance and decor, along with complimentary tea/coffee/cookies.This was my second visit and I know where I'm going from now on. The owner of the shop April is a first rate person, and barber. She is pleasant, and cuts my hair the way I want it. She also engages you in conversion that is pleasant and makes the time pass so quickly that you lose track of time. GREAT PLACE!!!read more

Actually went to the barbershop before them while I was in college and when I got back he was gone. Started going to downtown barber and they give the best haircuts I've ever gotten. I use all the hair stylists so I can't recommend just one, but they all do a fantastic job.Edit: Not only do they do an amazing job but in these terrible times they take the safety of their barbers and clients very seriously. Just back from my first haircut since the shutdown. I can't say enough about how you've adapted to the new reality. Felt totally safe and very comfortable. The shop is very clean and the precautions you all are taking, right down to the clean towel in place of the "powder brush" are fantastic. You and your husband and your staff deserve a lot of credit. I highly recommend going to Breanne to cut your hair! I was in desperate need of a haircut and she was able to give life to my hair after a very long quarantine. One of the cleanest, most well organized barber shops I have ever been to. The level of professionalism is unmatched, I get my hair cut by Breanne and it always comes out amazing. Downtown Barber is the best around. Everyone does a great job there and the environment is friendly and relaxing. The shop is ALWAYS clean and during COVID-19, staff handled the situation perfectly and continue to do so. To add, they do great haircuts on kids too. I took my 15 month old son here for his very first haircut. And of course it was a bit of an adventure. Elvin was AMAZING with him (my son cried and pushed away his hands a bit) and he was professional and extremely friendly the whole time. I followed my barber (Debi) here from a shop that I hated but kept going to so that she could cut my hair. I think it was a blessing in disguise for both of us. She's since moved on, but I stayed with Breanne - who's amazing. April and Nat run a great shop - it's warm and welcoming, always ridiculously clean, stocked with snacks for kids and adults - and they give great haircuts. Every barber's chair is occupied when I'm there. They're always busy, which obviously says something about them too. While getting your haircut, you can be treated to comical banter, serenading to whatever song is playing and/or countless good stories from all walks of life. It truly is a great place to get a quality haircut and I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone in the area.read more
