haven't had a haircut in a while and had a family wedding coming up. i needed a good place to get in and out without going to a salon. called got an appt within a few hours and Nick gave me a proper haircut.Good price and ill be growing my beard back out to come in for a full shape soon. I am not one for 5 star reviews but I had to. I picked a random place on google because I just moved down here and was not familiar with a place in the West Deptford area. I pulled up and walked in and was home. All sopranos and Italian movie posters hanging on the wall and “nick” the owner told me “sign in”. One of the best haircuts i have gotten and I have gotten a lot of them do to my traveling. Happy to say i found my new spot and look forward to the next time, not just for the cut but for the good company. Thanks again brother.read more

The majority of my experiences with barbers in the past is that they are never on time, take over an hour to perform the cut, and always miss at least one thing.Nicky is attentive, holds a stable conversation, and we also have a lot of similar views. Coming here is an experience I look forward to.People tend to have a general misconception about barber shops. Places like Sports clips and Hair Cuttery are NOT barber shops.A barber shop is a place where you go to shoot the sh*t, get a straight razor shave, a fade, and be yourself. Enjoyed my visit to Debonaire Barber Shop. I've never been to a barber, so this was my first experience. It was nothing like the chain hair cut places I've been using. Nicky cut my hair with great care and attention, it took about twice as long as it would take at a chain store, and this is a good thing. His hands are a bit heavy, but I could feel the purpose behind it. I got a very good hair cut from a gentleman who understands how I wanted my hair cut.read more

I walked into this barber shop having never been to a professional independent barber in my life (I usually just went into whatever chain could take me at that time). Not only was Nick gracious and kind, he took a critical look at the natural rhythms of my hair and recommended a new style based on his experience.
