Description
Crown Barbershop was established in 2017 and has an unique take on the classic barbershop. The shop is owned and operated by Scooter Clowney, who is very chill and easy to talk to. The decor is awesome and unlike any other barber shop you'll find. The distressed and peeled wall is very cool and shows layers of paint and older styles. Yet, the rest of the shop is clean, bright, simple, and modern. Cash preferred, Venmo accepted.

Scott/Scooter does it right every time but he and the other barbers there get booked up quickly. Make sure to schedule in advance. On top of providing a great service the shop is really cool and the barbers and other clients are good conversation.read more

I needed to get my haircut before a wedding last minute. Scooter the owner was extremely helpful getting me in last minute. I found the shop to not only be clean but aesthetically cooler compared to the other shop I have been going to for years in Bloomfield. I think it may be time to switch. Haircut was affordable as well he really took his time and left me looking good.read more

All 3 barbers know what they're doing, so whether you are a walk-in or an appointment, you won't regret it. I got my cut by Tom. He was the most patient person I've ever met. 10/10 would go again.

I'm super picky about my son's haircuts. I called beforehand to make sure they saw children. The barber was super impersonal with my son. He literally didn't say anything to him the entire time. I asked if he could make some nice lines and was told they don't do that. The fade on the cut could have been cleaner. It was a decent haircut but nothing spectacular, and the experience was kind of boring.read more

Hadn’t gotten a hair on my head cut in almost two years, simply b/c I could never find a barber who was able to capture what I was looking for and leave happily; Tom, though, did a great job - couldn’t have been better. I have naturally curly hair and it turned out so well. Also got out of the exchange a solid tattoo artist recommendation and a new styling product that, so far, has worked awesome. The guys there were really nice. The haircut is a little expensive in my opinion but they are nice haircuts so it's probably worth it. It has a very cool vibe in there. I'd recommend.

I love this place. Classic barbershop feel, with a straight razor neck shave as part of your haircut if you like that. I get my hair cut by the owner Scooter, who is excellent. There are two other very skilled barbers and one of them takes walk-ins. They are more than reasonably priced. I highly recommend this barbershop.read more

I scheduled an appointment on their website and I was able to get in about 9 days later. When I was there only 2 barbers where working and they were booked. The wait was soooo worth it!! I hadn’t had a proper cut in two months. Tom corrected my situation and I felt so damn good when I left!! Thank you! And I will be online scheduling by next appointment in four weeks!!! I'm a chick who gets a haircut that's more typically worn by a guy, and my last stylist wasn't available, so I made a last minute appointment with Trever.Turning your hair over to someone new always feels risky, but Trever paid careful attention to my reference photo, asked me thoughtful questions and incrementally brought the cut shorter until we got to exactly where I was comfortable. My boyfriend gets his hair cut by Tom and it looks amazing. He went from hair past his shoulders to a really short style that flatters his face shape. He's been back to Tom again and I had to write a review because even the grow out between appointments looks SO good. That's how you know someone knows what they're doing behind the chair. The vibe in the shop is really cool, too. The owner and other barber were nice and easy to chat and joke around with, too.
