The whole experience at Bloke’s is top notch! Steve is the man, while Gionna, Duke, and the rest of the team make you feel right at home.I just wish they would get a Bose boombox or something similar so that every now and again (maybe the first Friday of every month) customers could choose the music played in the shop... the jukebox only has so many songs!read more

Best cut in the city... not only is Blokes an awesome establishment with a killer jukebox and free beer (or water), the barbers are top notch. My two go-to's are Duke and Stephen both give an amazing cut and also pay close attention to details. My latest trip Stephen did an excellent fade and beard trim while keeping the conversation legit and giving me styling tips so I would look topnotch every day. As soon as I walked out the door I was scooping up compliments all the way back to my place.read more

I’ve been to Blokes about 6 times. Mike cuts my hair and I really can’t say enough how awesome I feel about the service there. The first meeting I was transitioning from another barber who I saw for years so there was that awkward feeling of whether or not it was going to be good. But it was great. Mike’s a great dude, he listened to what I wanted and gave me that. He’s easy to talk to and the experience was super chill. I’ll go back to Mike at Blokes as long as I can.read more

Great Barbershop! I got referred to this place from some friends at work and so I thought Ill give this a go. Got appointment with Duke and it was an amazing experience. This place is pretty cool. By chance I was passing by and saw an empty chair and decided to walk in and there was an opening. Very friendly vibe, they offered a beverage right away. They asked for my coat and hung it up in the back where there's a few couches and some guitars to mess around with. There's various items for sale and to browse while visiting.read more

I've jumped around a lot of barber shops, but this is the best one that I've visited and they will always have my business.Every barber that works here is phenomenal. Its difficult to find a barber that really works for you. I have tried several barbers in Philadelphia, but after finding Blokes, I would never go anywhere else. Duke is a great guy (even though he supports Manchester City) and a very talented hairdresser. He is open to hearing your ideas and giving feedback if needed and then providing exactly what you want. The space is clean and the staff are helpful and genuinely friendly. 5 stars without a doubt.read more

Even when I moved out of state, he took pictures of my fade and annotated where he starts each blade at, allowing me to show my next barber. Steve goes above and beyond any barber I’ve ever used, and his fades come out perfect every time.Steve, as well as the rest of the team at blokes are amazing!Owners, Duke and Jill, make it extremely easy to schedule appointments by either calling or using the schedule app, & if nothing is available, they always will find a spot or keep you in mind when there’s a cancellation. Steven is hands-down the best barber I've ever had! From the very first visit, I could tell that he didn't just treat this job as any old job, but as a craft. My previous barber wasn't doing the best job and I couldn't quite articulate what was wrong. Within minutes of sitting in Steven's chair, he assessed the situation and made his recommendations. I trusted him and since then I don't want anyone else touching my hair! His work is consistently great and his fades are immaculate. Highly recommend Steve! Finally found my new spot after some bad haircuts elsewhere. Blokes is awesome. Easy to book and friendly staff. I have seen Steve regularly now and he’s awesome. Cutting Asian hair isn’t the easiest to do nor is it easy knowing how to cut it for future growth. Steve does a great job. I’ve gotten several haircuts from him already, including for my wedding, and will continue to come here as long as Steve is here.
