Big Al's Barbershop in Broomall, PA is a large clean environment that opened in 2011 and specialize in men's and boy's haircuts. They do all styles, such as skin fades, combovers, tappers, and blow outs. Also, you can get beard detail with a straight razor, including a hot lather neck shave. If you want a full straight razor shave, they do that too. Cash only, but there's an ATM on site.

Awesome Barber Shop!! My haircut came out great and so did my son's!! Nice guys, they keep it clean and keep it moving!! Will def be back!!

I want to give this place 5 stars so badly because they are super friendly, have a super cool place, and really know what they are doing. HOWEVER, they really need some kind of system for Saturdays, or any busy time. I left today after waiting for 1.5 hours, and my son still didn’t get a haircut. It was packed when I walked in, but I thought hey it’s a Saturday, that’s to be expected. What I wasn’t expecting, was the total inefficiency of their system: basically, it’s walk ins only on Saturday. But there is no number to take, list to write your name on or person keeping track of who is next. At one point I realized a lot of people seemed to be waiting for one specific barber, which is fine, but how is anyone else walking in supposed to know that, and know what their place is in line? Not only that, when someone is finished and they are ready to take someone else, the barber just says “I don’t know who’s next”, which means the customers have to figure it out themselves. At any rate, I do like the vibe of the place and my son loves going there, so I’ll be back. I do hope they consider a more efficient way of running things though.read more

Second time I took my son there for a haircut today and the guys did a great job. Very friendly and they definitely know what they’re doing. All around solid vibe. Amazing to see posts below that give these dudes a star or two just because it’s cash only or bc it’s walk-in only on Fridays and Saturday... It’s a barbershop not a spa...read more

Very satisfied though u may have to wait pretty long, hence better to go there on weekdays. Besides, wish u guys open lately on another weekday since many guys like this barber shop honestly.

I’ve been going to the same barbershop for over 15 years, and I’ve taken my autistic son for 10 years, but Big Al’s has WON me over. I took my son for a haircut 10 days ago, and THEY were AMAZING in dealing with him (shout out to Abdul)🤙🤙, and Amir turned us both into Big Al’s permanent customers today with my haircut 💪…I’ve spoken to Big Al a couple of times now too🤙AND THEY take appointments, something my OLD barbershop did not…Friendly, Clean, free parking, and a welcoming atmosphere inside….Highly Recommended 🤙🤙🤙read more

Haircut was good but pricing was not accurate on the website or in the shop. Everything printed stated haircuts are $25. That’s not the case. Your cut will cost $40+ (plus tip). Otherwise, all good.read more

Good quality cut. Bunch of high school kids who wanna get fades. If you’re not in your 20’s just getting a fade they don’t want you. Took a shower one day went to get my haircut and it was still damp from the shower. The owner looked at me and said “ this isn’t hair cuttery” cool bro you’re not a 5 star barber and way to cocky for your pay graderead more

March 29, 2022 at 7:16 pmTransients’ barbers. Very young guys place with a need for phone tech/whatever. Seems like most are always in training. Multiple issues with schedules and owner/barber disagreements regarding scheduling. Got punky like dealing with my younger kids.
On another occasion the barber did not show up as scheduled and said he texted me. Nope. Went back home then the text showed up.1st time

Walked out last time without getting my son or my haircuts over scheduling/computer/phone email la la la.
Clips are Great. Just don’t need the agg.
