Art's Barber Shop, you come for the hair cut, but you stay for the atmosphere. No where else will you find a more welcoming place. In a world full or people in such a hurry, you can stop by, sit back, relax, have a great conversation, and get a professional cut in the process. I'll never go anywhere else for a hair cut.read more

Great haircut, laid-back atmosphere, excellent prices!My girlfriend and I stopped in to Art's shop not too long ago. We walked in during Art and his friend's lunch break, and were immediately offered a sandwich to eat while we waited. Art's barbershop is the only barber I've visited where the conversation felt genuine, not forced. Art is a very funny dude, great personality and a real people-person. He also knows what he's doing when it comes to hair and beards, and will work with you to determine styles and cuts that will best suit you.You can't go wrong giving him your business!read more

A classic barbershop, the experience is as good as the haircuts. We live 2,500 miles away now but the husband still insists on going to Art’s whenever we visit Greensburg.Over two years since his last visit and Art not only remembers him but how he likes his hair cut.read more

The best barber around here and probably in Pennsylvania. He always remembers how I like my hair cut and is reasonably priced and very good at cutting hair. No one cuts hair better than art!

Art was full of customers when I got there and when I left. Only takes walk ins. There was 5 middle school or younger kids there a couple college kids and then a few older adult men. I got head shaved beard trimmed to a goatee mustache trimmed he touched up the eye brows and ears. He did an excellent job and charges next to nothing for his good conversation and exceptional service. He is in South Greensburg well worth it.read more

Stopped here from out of town within 30 minutes of closing for an emergency cut the day before my cousins wedding. Art was professional and a joy to have a conversation with. Art is a modern day legend. If you want a quality haircut at a reasonable price, you need to visit Art. The environment is old-school, and it enhances the value of a visit to Art's. Do you know the smell of Clubman Pinaud? Did you get your neck shaved with a straight razor the last time you got a haircut? Did the chair have a leather seat? Did you get to see the back of your hair in a mirror after the haircut? Was the music playing recorded in the 1900's? If the answer to one or all of these is "No", get to Art's for a traditional barber shop experience. It's first come-first served, and you'll be happy that it is, because the conversation between Art and his clientele is also part of the experience. Finally, if you have boys, take them to Art's, so they know what a real barbershop is. Art, thank you for keeping the tradition alive.read more
