Have been looking for a solid barbershop around this area for quite some time and finally have found one, incredible barbershop with truly some of the best around. They take their time in understanding exactly what you want and their work speaks for itself, you will not find not get a better haircut. Also the authentic/ old school decor in this shop brings a great vibe. First time there and I have already schedule my haircuts for the next couple of months.read more

Always a top-notch experience. The nostalgic-inducing experience hints at the attention to detail presented in all of their offerings. Dan is an amazing barber, and in my opinion, the best I've ever been to. The biggest problem I have always had with barbers is consistency, but there is never that problem with Dan. He always gives me the exact haircut that I want every time and that's extremely rare in the industry. Dan and Virile is the real deal. As someone who has been to several barber shops in NJ (Glen Rock, Montclair, Red Bank, Piscataway, New Brunswick, etc.), I can easily say that Dan is hands down the best barber in the state, which means he's probably the best in the country. DAN THE MAN! I came in with thick shoulder length hair that I have been growing out for 2 years. I wanted to do a mullet but since I am the most indecisive person ever I could not decide on a haircut. Dan really took the time to work through my indecisiveness and give me amazing suggestions. He was super kind, patient, and knowledgeable. We ended up doing like 2 different hairstyles where Dan had to manually scissor cut all my thick hair off. I ended up with a mullet that Dan kept adjusting because again I AM VERY INDECISIVE. It came out fantastic and amazingly cut. All my friends and family love it! I do not miss my long hair! Can't speak highly enough of this shop. I have been a loyal Virile client since I lived in JC. After moving to the burbs, I spent a year looking for a new shop before Dan opened this location. The other shops around are fine, but you won't get Dan's attention to detail, commitment to satisfaction, or relaxing ambiance anywhere else. Dan is a master of his craft - no hyperbole there - so much so that followed him when he left the spot around the corner from me and opened up Virile Morristown.
