Description
Princeton Barber Shop has been around since 1962, originally known as Rialto. It was renovated in 2011, and now features solid teak floors, custom walnut and granite barber stations, and custom wood paneling. There's a nice vintage look to the the shop. It's popular around students due to its proximity to campus, and the shop offers a 10% student discount to Princeton students on weekdays if you bring your ID.

Been going here for almost two years. I get the classic bankers cut with short sides and each of the seven different stylists that cut my hair did a very good job. Staff is friendly and efficient. Cash only. You can park in the Schwab lot across the street if you go after they close.read more

The barbers take great care of me for years now. Thanks so much. I go during the slow hours usually to avoid waiting. Not a fan of lines, traffic and the crowds unless it's a concert. This is no concert. They have plenty of barbers at any given time so the wait is minimal regardless of when I show up.read more

Great barber shop, they really take care of you. Only reason why I gave 4 stars is because they don't accept credit cards as a method of payment, only cash or check.

I've been going here for a few years now. The barbers are professional and very accommodating. After every haircut they use warm foam and shave the back of your neck with a razor. I love coming here and I will continue to be a loyal customer.read more

The bald guy with the beard did a phenomenal job on my hair. I made sure to be explicit with how I wanted my hair. He was very patient and always made sure to ask if I wanted to make any changes along the way. Will definitely go back for another haircut from him.read more

They don't take appointments. Just show up and wait in line. They had 6 chairs going, so even on a busy Saturday afternoon, I only waited approx. 20 minutes! Best haircut I've had in a long time. Go on a weekday for a shorter wait.read more

Usually very good except for when I came in yesterday for a cut before my wedding. The barber disregarded my instructions and took off way more than I asked. My fiancé and I are very unhappy as I had been growing out my hair for my wedding and emphasized this to the barber. Other than that, my experience has been good but that was a pretty big mistake.read more

Great little barber shop that dosnt look like much from the outside. Staff was friendly and everything was reasonably priced. They are a cash only shop so be ready for that. I got a cut, beard trim and shave for $40. Worth it.read more

Mediocre haircuts, but $23 for a men‘s haircut is kind of ok. Go there if you just need your hair cut, but if you have an important appointment go somewhere else.

Good barber shop with Victorian style furniture.They've sitting for five.Guys are experienced.Difficult to park..Prices are nominal,It's good for kids and men.Properly equipped.But they don't have anybody on reception area.They don't have bathroom inside..or may be locked for customers..which was o didn't like.Need some cleanliness.I liked wooden Victorian style interior .read more

My son comes from DC to get a haircut here. Very fun place! Great stylists, fast and very inexpensive. Love the dark mahogany manly space, and moms have to wait outside ;)
