jackie and the rest of the crew at nassau barbers were nothing less then professional. i was greeted with friendly hellos by everyone that was working there. jackie cut my sons hair and it turned out amazing, he was so happy with it and doesn’t want to go to anyone else to get his hair cut.read more

Needed a cut after the shutdown, most places are booked for weeks. They've got a first come first serve system, take a ticket and wait like the deli. Wait wasn't too bad, even with one barber/one client at a time. Cut was quick and what I asked for. Very friendly service, nice little joint. Listen... Jackie & co will get you right. I’ve been going for years, but was a bit nervous to go during covid times. Went today with my last cut being in February, and was totally impressed with how safe the environment felt. Just one barber, one other staff, and me, with plenty of health precautions. Has been and always will be the best in the area.read more

Been going here for years during my tine as a grad student at Princeton. What kept me coming back was the fact that (a) the barbers here always took their time to give you a quality haircut, paying close attention to detail, and that (b) the barbers are personable and remember who you are if you come regularly.read more

I’m going to be honest. I have never had a professional hair cut and had no idea what to ask for or expect. I was recommended this place because I heard one of the barbers was extremely kind and easy to talk to about potential hair styles. Jackie did not disappoint. She gave me a great consultation about what would look good with my hair based on my limited knowledge on hair styling. The actual hair cut was quick and we had great conversations during. I couldn’t be happier with the results and feel as if I have been missing out not going here sooner. I was worried from the website about annoying covid protocols, but I didn't need to be.When you walk in this place, you'll be hit by the (very pleasant) smell of an old timey barber shop. Brought me back to my childhood. From the smell, I expected to see a bunch of old men with white hair for barbers, but it turned out to be a couple of beautiful young women.There was no wait (went on a Monday morning), and Gina gave me an excellent and efficient haircut (quicker than what I'm used to, with as good or better results).The price is as low as you'll get in town.All in all, very highly recommended.read more

Good looking hair cuts on both of my boys. Right off Nassau. Awesome stylists, and beautiful work done. Walk-ins only, so you will have to wait if you go peak hours -parkungay be issue too, week days are cheaper (-2$), Cash only, highly recommended.read more

If you are looking to get clean, professional cuts then this is definitely the place to go in Princeton. Very much attention to detail when giving haircuts here. I’ve always gotten one from vic and she definitely does an amazing job. I have brought many people here and have not heard of any complaints. This is an amazing place! The stylists are absolutely lovely and are great conversationalists, as well as super skilled barbers/hair cutters. They offer a first-come first served sort of deal but they move folks really quickly. The space is comfy for folks of all genders and ages and it seemed like they were comfy working with different hair textures, too. If you're looking for a new barbers shop, this might be it! I am very particular about getting my haircut every week. Every employee greets you with a smile and friendly hello. I knew they would be professional and friendly because I read they won "Best Barbershop" by Town Topics. This shop always goes above and beyond with absolutely perfect haircuts. There are at least eight chairs, and the wait time is always reasonable. Please keep in mind they are walk-ins only, so some days ten people waiting and other times two. Comfortable seating and table with wifi while you wait to make the time go faster. The inside is new and very well done with white stone and dark wood. Vick is my go-to and is fifty percent my barber, 50 percent therapist. Located next to a coffee shop and directly across from Princeton University.read more
