Description
Mark's Barber Shop in Elsmere, DE opened in 2002 with the goal of bringing back the traditional barbershop style and experience. The staff focus on their clients and the style they are trying to achieve. They offer regular and clipper cuts, same length buzz cuts, and detailed beard trims. Every haircut includes a hot towel and straight razor neck shave. Walk-ins normally welcome, but make an appointment during Covid-19 times.

Best barber shop I've ever been to - and I've lived in many different places the past 8 years. The atmosphere is incredible as Mark is a professional. It has an old time vibe with the music and it's always packed (for good reason). I am a regular now and have gotten a haircut from each person that works there - I've never felt disappointed. In fact, Everytime I leave I have a fresh boost of confidence because Mark only hires the best. It's cash only but there is an ATM. And yes, they complete every cut with a straight razor shave and hot towel - do I need to say any more? I travel miles to go to this shop and it's always worth it. 5/5 stars keep up the fantastic workread more

Top notch in every way, shape and form. Classic and progressive cuts. The owner Mark is always there and I’ll wait an extra hour or two just to make sure he cuts my hair. Attention to detail is phenomenal, never rushed, always takes his time to make sure every hair is perfect. Love this place.I see both Luke and Mark but highly recommend anyone that cuts hair there. The shop is clean and professional. Haircuts are thorough and precise.They now have online booking which makes life so very easy.The prices are so affordable I'm able up go once a fortnight.You will meet a lot of veterans there which is always nice. And they are just a few blocks from the Elsemere VA which, as a sidenote, has a great chow hall with daily specials that cannot be beat in town. Leeann is the cook and she will treat you right.Back to Mark's barbershop. It is right next to the firehouse. Best barber shop around for men. Hate that prices went up so much, but I understand with the pandemic. Love that you can now make appointments online so you don't have to sit and wait, staff is great especially Luke and Mark. One of the few places that you can get a straight razor cut on neck and a beard trim. Once you go here, you won't want to visit any other barber shop.read more

Since I have been living in Wilmington Marks Barbershop has been my go to for hair cuts. I have had my hair cut by multiple barbers from the shop and all haircuts I have had have been fantastic.
