Justin’s Barbershop started with one man who had passion for cutting his friend's hair. It has since grown in to a franchise with several locations, such as this one in Matawan. Nice clean shop with that has recently been constructed and opened to the public.

Loved everything about this place! The atmosphere is relaxed, warm and inviting. I walked in and was seen almost immediately. Nahim,the barber, asked me how I wanted my hair to look. I briefly explained and lets just say he nailed it! He was thorough, took his time and paid attention to detail. Look forward to my next cut!read more

My husband went in for a cut based on a friend's recommendation and really enjoyed his experience, and got the exact cut he wanted. Loved the décor, and the staff were warm, friendly, and welcoming! We highly recommend and my husband will be back for sure!read more

I walked in and was instantly greeted with a friendly receptionist who helped me with being put into the system they have. I was then seated with Andrew who gave me an amazing haircut, one of the best I've had. I will be sure to come back and tell everyone I know about this great barbershop.read more

Just got back from Justin’s Barbershop and have to let you know that THIS is the place to go! They were WONDERFUL with my 2.5 year old! They had balloons, lollipops, and even let him choose the cape that he wanted to wear (jungle animals or Disney) Joey did the cut and was great with my son too! We will be back soon!!!! Also have to mention that the place is VERY clean, which is important to me, so I was very happy! 😀read more

Overall a good barbershop. JC is absolutely amazing at cutting hair, gave me exactly what I asked for. However the other barber working here gave me a completely different cut than what JC gave me, even though I asked for the same thing both time. Hair looked completely different after both cuts. Otherwise I would recommend as the staff and barbers are friendly.read more

Another reviewer mentioned the "new guy" below. The new guy is on his way to seasoned veteran. I've had two appointments with Dennis and they were both great. He's highly professional, easygoing, and gave me a clean, awesome cut in great time. Props to Justin's for training and supporting such great staff. Will always come here for my haircuts.read more

Today was my 1st time at Justin's, due to scheduling conflicts I had to bring my 2yr old son with me. Not only did I receive a great haircut from Nahim, but everyone else was great with my son!!! He sat and played with his toys and talked to everyone. Can't say enough nice things about the staff!! Will definitely be returning as a regular!!read more

The shop is conveniently located just of of Route 516 and Route 34 in Matawan NJ.While not a fancy shop, it is clean.The cutter I used was JC. He's a really nice guy. Pleasant to talk to and a good cutter. He listens to what you want and then cuts your hair.If you're a person that prefers one of the really fancy spa-type salons, then I don't recommend this place. If you want a good place to get your hair cut, then this is the place!read more

All 3 of my boys get haircuts here. The 2 older ones also get they're beards done. They are 14, 20 and 30 years. They love it here and I have to admit that they look amazing when done. Best place ever.read more

Nahim is an excellent barber and was always consistent with his cuts and was very personable. He always takes care of me and keeps the fade fresh. Can’t beat the prices either, $25 for a mens cut.

Took my son here for the first time today. The fade and cut were superb. I love that they offer online booking and are open on Sundays! I was extremely grateful the barber stayed later to accommodate us last minute. My son was very happy and said the barber made him feel very comfortable and welcome. We will be returning!read more

We go to the matawan location and My son is on the autism spectrum and I cannot say enough good things about this barbershop. My son has a hard time with haircuts and everyone in there is amazing with him and they take their time, they are patient and understanding and just overall amazing if you ever go anywhere for a haircuts I highly recommend this barbershop!read more
