Hair Mechanix (World Golf Village) in Augustine, FL is a fun, MALE-friendly place where men get what they deserve. Built by guys for guys and powered by better girls. The attentive and talented staff offer all current and vintage hairstyles. The barber shop is lined with big screen TV's and photos covering the walls, along with rock music on the speakers. Also, you can sit back and relax with a complimentary beer. Each haircut includes a wash and hot towel neck shave. Hair color and waxing services are available as well. It's certainly a man focused experience. Locations in Michigan, Florida, and Pennsylvania.

This was literally the best haircut I've ever gotten. Not only was it an amazing hair cut but the place is super cool. Awesome music, videos playing on TVs for each stall, and fantastic cut. I got a haircut with a beard trim and shave., All for $33 l. I will be a permanent client. Oh and even though I don't drink they offered me a beer, pop, or water like 3 times while I was there. Olyvia was amazing. I have no idea when it comes to hairstyles and I told her "Cut it so that if you saw it you yourself, you would say DAMN that is one hell of a haircut!". The Barbers are great, cant say that enough! But this is the second time this month ive made an appointment for one of my 3 kids. An then asked to make a second appintment for myself, or just put it in the notes that i need a quick l need a quick tape up or beard trim. An BOTH times ive been told they're too busy and dont have enough time! Even after calling 12hrs prior to confirmed i indeed thave two appointments! Its very frustrating! An cant quite figure out why this has been a problem the last two times weve been there. Everyones times valuable, and this should be an easy fix!read more

I brought my father in law in for a long overdue haircut and to shave his beard off. Olivia was phenomenal, even was polite and rolled with it when there was a communication mix up between her and I. As we age it gets harder to care for ourselves and she didn’t let it phase her. She was so kind to him and even modified the headrest to help him relax. He enjoyed himself and had a little pep in his step and twinkle in his eye when they were done. Olivia you are one in a million and hair mechanix should be proud to have you on their team. Third time there, Friday. They were busy, but was able to get a walk-in. Waited about 50 minutes, but It was definitely worth it!I've had 3 different barbers each 3 times, and the consistency of quality was the same. Nice medium skin fade, and number 5 on top, with a little scissor cut in the front, shampoo and conditioner at the end. Love that she (she was amazing, but forgot name, sorry!) took her time to ensure it was perfect! Nice little conversation as well. Might be a little more pricey than your Dad's barber shop, but the quality justifies the cost! Love this place!read more

Last minute needed a cut and beard trim heading out of town on important trip. Ray got me in and then proceeded to give me the best cut and trim I've ever had. Place is top notch I'll continue to drive from palatka it worth the drive. Would advise to make an appointment they seemed pretty busy even late in the day.read more

I've never gone to an actual stylist before so I didn't realize how fantastic it would be. My stylist Michele took a lot of time with me shaping a monster Santa beard and then my actual haircut and I couldn't have been more satisfied. Didn’t have an appointment but was welcomed in by one of the stylists who gave me a run down of how long I’d be waiting and asked if they could get me anything to keep me comfortable while I waited.My stylist Jenn was PHENOMENAL. I showed her a picture of what I wanted, and unlike anyone before she asked some questions about what I haven’t liked with previous haircuts. With all of that she essentially told me “I got you” and proceeded to give me the best haircut I’ve had in years. Everything was EXACTLY what I asked for. I love Victoria ! She has been cutting my hair and straight razor shave for 2+ years now. On ration she has not been in Carson has also done an amazing job as well as Ray. Awesome people great atmosphere and always a great cut and good time. My five-year-old son will only come in here to get his hair cut. My partner Kristina has also gotten her haircut by Victoria on multiple occasions and I think this is the only place that she is coming as well now. I recently met Gary in a most unexpected place—prison. Don't ask why I was there; let's just say it involved a mix-up with a turkey hunting permit and a suspiciously eager wildlife officer. Anyway, Gary and I struck up a conversation over a thrilling game of chess with pieces made from stale bread.Gary, a man of many talents, casually mentioned that he got the best haircuts after his release, thanks to none other than Jen, the local barber extraordinaire. He regaled me with tales of her legendary skills—how she once turned a mullet into a Mohawk so sharp it could slice through the cell bars.Intrigued and desperate for a decent cut (prison food is bad enough without looking like a chia pet), I decided to find Jen as soon as I got out. Let me tell you, stepping into her barbershop was like walking into a sanctuary of style. I took my son there today and was squeezed in by luck. Jenn was so amazing with my son who’s experiencing his first heartbreak. She was like his hype man and by the time she was done, he was a lot better. The cut was amazing but her kindness really elevated our experience. I can’t thank her enough for how she handled him today and the fact that she squeezed him in without even knowing how much he needed this today. Ann Marie is the absolute best. She takes her time and makes sure that you’re happy with the cut. She takes a lot of pride in her job and you can tell that she’s trying hard to make sure you like her work. Never had a bad haircut here. (IMHO) Seriously, made my last minute appointment on line this morning. My stylist was Jenn, a very pleasant person, excellent skills who really delivered. I was looking for just a trim and touch up, but her confidence and professionalism allowed me to let go as I mentioned the style of cut I wanted. I have been coming to Hair Mechanix for over 2 years now. I always book ahead, always first stylist available, and I am always very satisfied with the results. All the staff are good people, the place is clean, comfortable and they always offer me a beverage of choice. Prices are very fair, extras are available. Walk ins are welcome but it’s always better to make your appointment ahead of time as they do get busy.read more
