Amy is the best! She’s super personable and her shop is warm and welcoming. I’m very picky with who I let cut my hair and she has done an amazing job every time. She knows a lot about cutting different hair textures and is great at making recommendations. She even offers a student discount for college kids which is awesome. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a consistent barber in West Chester to try out Charlie & Co, you won’t be disappointed!read more

My son and I went for haircuts and really enjoyed our experience. The shop is super clean and bright. Amy was amazing and our haircuts came out great. We will go back for sure. Parking can be tricky so make sure to show up 10-15 min early as finding a parking spot in West Chester can be tough.read more

Amy and the folks at Charlie and Co. are superb. Not only do they deliver a high-quality product at an affordable price, but their shop is beautiful, clean, and welcoming, and they are kind, down-to-earth, and jovial people. I've never received a better haircut from another shop, because Charlie and Co.'s attention to detail and standards are supererogatory; they carefully listen to your wants and ask questions to develop a precise plan. The shop is in an accessible location to the borough and the surrounding area, and parking is easy to come by. Plus, the history of the shop makes the experience all the more enjoyable.read more

What can I say that wasn't already said in all the 5 star reviews before me. I live in town in West Chester and like to support local business whenever I can. So when I was in need of a new barber I saw Charlie and Co and decided to give it a shot. WOW, was I sooooooo impressed. I used Fred the first time and will never go to another barber again. My girlfriend said it was THE BEST haircut I have ever had. She was blown away. We love him so much I take my son there as well. He LOVED it too. The shop is so clean and fresh too. Amy is probably the nicest human alive as well. She owns the shop and is always smiling when you are there. If you haven't give Charlie and Co and shot, do yourself a favor and go. You will NOT be disappointed!read more

From the minute I walked in I just felt this warmth. I was greeted by two wonderful ladies and another gentleman cutting hair. They were so kind and friendly, while remaining focused on their clients. The atmosphere was very relaxing and distraction free without the need of a TV blasting SportsCenter, or a "bourbon bar" or "beer fridge". The decor was tasteful and unassuming without trying too hard to appeal to a certain machismo. The place was CLEAN and It smelled wonderful. Faith took her time, and gave a really great haircut. Even, well blended, nicely styled, and it still only took roughly 30 minutes. I never once felt rushed. This is a true hidden gem in a small city packed with multiple barbershops. I usually get my hair and beard cut by Fred and let me tell you, I have never had someone pay such close attention to the intricacies of a beard trim like Fred does. He knows all the tricks and I always end up feeling great when he’s done. Amy is so great and welcoming into her parlor. The atmosphere is very laid back and minimal, unlike some barbers. It feels clean without being pretentious like some places. I can’t recommend Charlie & Co enough, they’re great!read more

I tried this place today for the first time, I got a trim. Despite me being a female, I felt very comfortable going to a barbershop to get my hair cut. I made an appointment before hand and I was immediately seen.All the staff were very friendly. I loved the atmosphere. It was very clean here. It made you want to spend time and money here. One of the best Barbershop experiences I have had ever. There is a reason they have so many 5 start reviews. I would recommend this place for any guy with any type of hair looking for a cut or style. I have longer hair and Amy's experience showed when talking with me about what was possible with the hair type I have. I was so excited to see her open her own business and even more impressed that despite opening it a week before the 2020 lock down, she remained resilient and made it through to truly open Charlie & Co.Once we were able to go back to getting haircuts, I visited Charlie & Co and found it to be not only a stunning space, but exceptional service and the highest quality for my hair and beard needs. I have been coming to Amy for haircuts for 10 years now and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Her haircuts are best but going to her is much more than that. She is one of the most personal and friendliest person I've met. So you may go in for a cut but you will leave with a new friend. Her expertise at cutting hair shows as booking needs to be done in advance since everyone wants to go to her. She also has done a great job of hiring other barbers there that do incredible work and are just as nice and easy to talk to as her. I have had my hair cut by Fred and I am always impressed by his attention to detail. You can tell that he is not just giving you any cut but one that is best suited for you. I swear that it seems like he wont be done until each single hair is in the right place and you will look amazing for it. I think it says a lot about the people at Charlie & Co Barbershop and cuts I get when I get excited when my hair is getting long and its time to pay them a visit.read more

Needed a last minute cut and my normal barber was unavailable , so I took a chance and went to see Dustin at Charlie & Co Barbershop. From the moment I walked in, I knew I made a great decision. The staff all greeted me with a smile, the shop was clean and had pleasant music playing. Dustin listened to all of my requests, took his time with my cut, and throughout the process asked if what he was doing was what I wanted.
