Braze Original Barbershop in Long Island City is a beautifully designed barber shop renovated inside a freight elevator from the 1940's. It's a uniquely styled building with industrial features, yet with a touch of elegance. A cool place. They have quality barber service with clipper and scissor cuts, and they even offer complimentary drinks from their self service mini bar.

I’m so happy that Braze opened up in my neighborhood during the pandemic. Fellipe designed the shop and created a great vibe. He literally makes getting a haircut an enjoyable experience. Also the price is very reasonable in NYC standard. My go-to place for haircut now!read more

Finally found THAT “one barber”! I, like most guys, have always had that one barber I kept going back to for a fresh cut. Grew up in NJ so when I went to college in CT I would plan haircuts on trips home. Did the same thing for my first year living in NY, it was too much. Until my brother came to the rescue and recommended me to Braze. Found my new barber there. I’ve been going there ever since. It’s great gem with welcoming atmosphere and you leave feeling yourself just bit more than when you walked in. I definitely recommend checking Braze for yourself!read more

One of the best barbers in Long Island city. I’ve been going to Braze since it opened and I can tell you that the service and hospitality is amazing. It’s always a relaxing experience and I look forward to getting my hair cut every week as you should.Most recently I’d like to mention there has been a leak in the front entrance which is a little dangerous because the floor gets soaked and you have to be careful not to slip. Felipe is good about wiping it up or putting buckets to collect the water.read more

One of the best barbers by far in NYC, I been getting my hair cut by him for over a year now and was extremely happy to see him open his new shop. Excellent decor. but even better fades. He understand how to read your hair and has great tunes.. Only negative is sometimes there is this leak by the entrance that kind of kills the vibe and makes me feel unsafe... but besides that he is a great barbor!read more

Best place in queens to get a cut. Except for the leaking roof. Every time it’s raining outside, it’s raining inside. It’s a major slip/fall hazard. Not safe.

Visiting from out of town, I booked an appointment with Fellipe based on word of mouth and strong online reviews. I’m super glad that I did. Fellipe is an exceptional barber and the shop itself is wonderfully reflective of his original and modern style that also pays homage to old school barbering. I have been coming to Braze Barber Shop and having Fellipe groom me weekly for 2 years. He is a true master of his craft and provides a flawless experience. I'm not an easy person to please as it relates to my beard and hair and I can hands down say I don't know what I would do without this guy. I just moved to LIC from Manhattan so my commute is easier but would come here regardless of my location. Love the fact he moved into a more intimate space that's even closer to my apartment. Felipe was awesome. I went in with a mess of hair and beard since the beginning of the pandemic and I left looking and feeling 10 years younger. I would highly recommend coming here if you need a cut or beard trim.Also, the website and scheduling was simple and straightforward. The confirmation emails allow you to add it to your calendar with one touch. Which may not sound like much but it’s much better than other websites I’ve used in the past.read more

The place has a great vibe, the music is always spot on, and the energy is very welcoming. Felipe is often booked so I get a beard trim and a clean up with Paolo. Paolo is smooth and efficient, he listens and delivers. And, he also gives fashion consultations on the side.
