Personally I am used to getting a relatively quick haircut for like 15 dollars and this was a new and welcome experience. From my experience so far, Matt and Raul are genuinely good barbers who are dedicated to giving a haircut that is satisfactory. They pay attention to detail and you are getting what you pay for. The atmosphere there is great as well with great music always playing in the background.read more

This is the place to go if you want a proper haircut. Fades are amazing but they do all kind of styles. Great atmosphere, classy, and QUALITY. I've been to plenty of surrounding barber's and nobody compares. I usually get cut by Matt but honestly you cant go wrong if he isnt available. First off, I really don't like getting my hair cut, and honestly I usually just let my wife do it. But she hates doing it, and I'm tired of hearing her complain, so I figured it was time to find a nice barber shop. Well, I was successful, I just received the best haircut I've ever had! Everything from the atmosphere to the music being played on the record player was spot-on! I definitely appreciated the time spent, for once I felt like I wasn't just a rush job, they really take their time to give a great cut. These people love their art, and it shows, on top of all that, they were extremely friendly and easy to talk to. I'll be going back for sure, I'm sure that'll make my wife happy as well!read more

If you’re looking for the best cut around Brand’s is the place! Been getting my hair cut by Dre since he worked at another shop years ago. He prides himself on making you look and feel 100% when you get out of his chair. Every shop he owns takes the same pride in their work and gives the same quality cut by all of his barbers. Coming from Miami and NYC I always had loyalty to my barbers, then I moved to the poconos I was unhappy with all the shops in the area. First I tried pa finest, then el coqui. Since I’m a female I was treated like a second class customer. Many times I would be kept waiting for hours and it was almost like they were afraid to cut my hair. Then I tried Brands, I messaged them about cutting my hair for donation and they gave me an appointment right away. Lou ALWAYS greets me with a smile and is very respectful. The vibe inside the parlour is very retro and homey. It’s a great atmosphere for all ages and they specialize in making you feel comfortable. At this shop you really get what you pay for and they listen to what you want. They will accommodate to almost any schedule with appointments. Hands down my favorite barber even compared to the ones I have in Miami and NYC. Every barber is carefully picked by the owner AND they have a few nice women who specialize in long hair for the ladies and men alike. If you’re looking for a barber shop this is the best one. I’ve been going to Dre for 6+ years now. I won’t let anyone else cut my hair. When I moved out of east stroudsburg I still took the hour drive once a week to get a cut. Couldn’t be more pleased with my experiences at both the Pocono Summit and East Stroud locations.I’ve been growing my hair out and had hit another awkward stage when I scheduled a cut with Louis.I was skeptical at first because I knew they were talented in tapers, fades, etc. but wasn’t sure how they’d handle a trim on some longer hair.My dude Louis hooked it up and provided loads of information on how to style and grow my hair out healthy.I was overly impressed with his professionalism and knowledge along with his scissor skills.I have and will continue to highly recommend Brands Barber Parlors to anyone looking for any type of cut.Thanks again Louis!read more

A friend of mine recommended Brand's after my 15 y/o son's hair was *literally* butchered at another local barbershop. No, really- his hair looked like Helen Keller cut it. I have trust issues... especially when it comes to my barbers. Ever since I shaved my head, I've been taking care of my beard too but have been looking for a good beard barber. Brandon ✂️✂️ is my man, I've been lucky to have found him and he is my go-to barber of choice.He's a great ambassador for the BRANDS barber parlor; don't be confused his name just happens to be close to the name of the several shops that are owned by Brand .It's a great barbershop, it's an adult men's oriented, traditional barbershop – but I have seen them on numerous education cut the hair of younger members of the family that come in.always friendly, always clean, always neat, always professional – this could be said for every and all barbers there.by the way, there is plenty of parking outside. It is mostly metered so just bring a few quarters and you'll be fine.I certainly wouldn't take a star away for this, but I would be extra happy if they would be able to incorporate full service shaves for beards and stubble.I think there is some technical issue in regards to Pennsylvania, licensing, and is in no way or reflection on their ability.this is definitely not an assembly line barbershop, they take their time and they are perfectionists to make sure that they are happy that they have made you happy with your finished haircut .they also have a POS system that accepts Apple Pay and tap debit/credit cards .read more
