I’ve been to AMG several times over the last year and always make my appointments online with Ben. He’s been my new go-to! He’s professional, friendly, and most importantly does an incredible job. I got my first cut today at AMG from El-Leon. The establishment was clean and professional. The proper precautions were taken during these Covid-Era times which included a temperature check on arrival, mask wearing, and properly spaced between barbers.In terms of the cut, it was excellent. My barber (El-Leon) gave me exactly what I was looking for as well as making further recommendations based on my personal facial and hair features. He used a wide array cutting techniques as evidently displayed from his 20+ years of experience.It was my first and certainly not last experience at AMG. My son and I have been coming to see Leon for over a year at the immaculate Artistic Mens Grooming location in Hewlett. Leon is always thorough and pays attention to detail regardless if you are his first appointment or the last one in the shop. He takes his time, offers a superior experience to any other barbershop I have ever stepped foot into. Always clean, friendly and top notch service. Interior is amazing! A true gentleman's lodge look with a bar, pool table, and all the works. Alex cut my hair, and did an amazing job. I'm very skeptical of breaking out of my norm and trying new places, especially when it comes to barbers. Being from out of town doesn't help either. Alex and the Artistic Men's Grooming team did a great job at putting my mind to rest with this, and gave me the cut, atmosphere, and service that any man deserves to have when getting a chop. Really easy to make an appointment and I never had to wait. I have used two different barbers and both were professional and took their time to do the job right. nice clean atmosphere and you are treated right. It may not be as cheap as a barbershop that rushes you out, but i have never been disappointed, it was never noisy or rushed, the barber didn't answer the phone in the middle, everyone was respectful, the list goes on.read more

As I got older, I realized I needed to start getting haircuts that matched my age. I realized I was really looking for a men's salon as opposed to your run-of-the-mill barbershop. I found AMG through an online search and decided to take a chance and book an appointment. I was a little nervous at first because I am very particular with my hair and wouldn't feel confident in myself if I didn't have a good haircut. I was really blown away from my first cut, style, and beard trim with Zanni. Zanni, like the other barbers, really take their time with each client. They do a very thorough job and provide excellent service. For the price, they offer an excellent value. I wouldn't get my haircut anywhere else.read more

I have tried several locations within the last year or so to find a barber that I can stick with, in my area. I decided to book an appointment with Yusef at this location. My first impression of this fine establishment was how the inside of it stood out in the best way. The detail in the elegant yet vintage decor is very pleasing. I loved waiting in all the areas, as there is so much good stuff going on. More importantly, I was met by Yusef in a very pleasing manner. I showed Yusef a picture of what I expected from my cut, not only did he deliver perfectly. but he also gave me some suggestions, which made my haircut superb. He is an amazing barber and and a very nice barber who listens to how I want my hair cut done and gives really good feed back. Every time I go get my haircut, it always an amazing experience. Make appointments online that are usually right on time and waiting a few minutes isnt so bad with a pool table and a lounge with plenty of space so you dont feel cramped like in most barber shops.
