I came in here one day thinking I was taking a big risk because my barber moved to a different state and it's so hard to find a good barber who knows your hair. I was greeted with a warm welcome and was taken right away . Normally when I get a haircut the barber cant handle my hair because it's so difficult but these guys do such an amazing job. I was in such a mess. My flight is tomorrow and I have a meeting in the morning. I came across a phenomenal barber Manye who treated me with excellent service. It can’t be put in words to how amazing the service was. Once I came through that door I was greeted with a smile and treated as if I was family. I was a bit skeptical but I noticed a great environment that is clean and friendly. I got a mid skin fade and a excellent beard trim. With each step Manye made me feel comfortable and not rushed. He made sure each detail was taken care of. Now I feel great and look amazing. It built my confidence for tomorrows meeting and my mini vacation. Definitely coming back after my trip.read more

So I was very hesitant to coming to this new shop, but as I walked in I had noticed that I recognized my old barber Manye, man was I happy to see him. I had known Manye since he had worked at the same shop previously known as King of Kutz. Manye and Gabe are literally the best, I get a pretty hard hair cut but Manye cleans me up nicely every time. He hooked up my fade and my beard. If I can give him more then 5 stars I would cause he definitely deserves it! I highly recommend AMG Barbershop, you will not regret! If you are hesitant and don’t like your old barber definitely give AMG Barbershop a try. I’ve even had Gabe give me a skin fade and it was immaculate. Congratulation! Of course it is hard to find a good barber? I wouldn't say that is the case at AMG. As someone that just moved back to NYC, I was nervous about finding a new barber. I had walked by a few times and one day I just plunged in. What do I like about AMG?
